Boa Viagem, the “Copacabana of Pernambuco”, can be considered the new part of the town of Recife, where the whole touristic infrastructure is concentrated. For this reason it is not astonishing, that almost all tourists stay all their holiday in this part of the town, which offers a 8 km long wonderful beach. During the weekend, besides a lot of other attractions, the “Praça ofBoa Viagem” offers a market of regional handicrafts. The square is surrounded with a lot of tipical shops and excellent restaurants and bars. This place is known as a meeting point for tourists and natives. Besides the famous beaches of Recife it is worthwhile to mention the bays and beaches in the southern part of the city. The 3 km long The beach of Gaibu/Xareu, 3 km long, with all its small restaurants and bars is a good example. The calmness and safety of the sea invites you to swim without any hesitation. The bordering beach of Calhetas in its natural solitary position is much more “intimate” and is considered one of the most beautiful beaches of Brazil. Divers who like to practice all kind of underwater sports recommend this place. Our apartment is located in the heart of Boa Viagem, approximately 100 meters from the beach and only 10 minutes of the well-known “Shopping Center Recife”. From here you can easily start all your activities in and arround Recife. The apartment is furnished and can accommodate max. 6 persons. The building is guarded 24 hours non-stop.. |
